6.30am
Woke up to rush out my first (or should I say final) draft. Emailed it out to Tony just in case I can't refined it further, that would be it. I'm so touched that Ian prepared lunch for me to bring on the bus. Gave Lisa a farewell hug after she assured me that I do not reek of alcohol =p
7.45am
Ian drove me to San Mateo to catch the 8.20am bus. See how fogging the weather is.
I was supposed to board a shuttle bus which picks the tourists up from different places. Was quite a commotion as people do not know which buses to board. It's the first step to independence -- to ask and find out where to go. Gave Ian a farewell hug. I really gonna miss Ian and Lisa. They are such nice people, and I’ve been so blessed.
Ian bought me something from the bakery nearby for my breakfast.10.30am
Reached Fremont, got up the bus with the rest of the tour. It’s a German lady beside me.
It’s a long journey, 1030am. Dozed off along the way. (thank God that i didn't suffer from any hangover.. it was only 3 drinks anyway =p)
12.40pm.
Dropped off for lunch. Ate the pretzel. Tried to do some further updates on the laptop. Yes, i do type on the laptop when the journey's long. The reason why it took so long to be put up on the blog is either because there's no internet access, or it takes too long to do uploads, or the laptop is flat (it's tough juggling between charging my laptop, handphone and camera batteries when i only have one power adapter!) or i had other priorities, was too tired or just simply had no time. =p
1.20pm
On the way to Yosemite National Park. These are windmills which generate electricity... hmm the tour guide actually said a lot about it, but i can't quite remember.. =p Charlene, if you are reading this blog, would you like to add some comments below? haha..
Here we are in Yosemite, 2nd largest National Park. It's a big park and we were told that we are one of the few fortunate ones who were given the map.
These trees are burnt. But it's natural forest fire that caused it. And these trees somehow require the fire to help them spread their fruits and seeds so as to reproduce. Interesting how nature works together by itself huh?
And here we are, stopping at a scenic view.. No, this is not a painting. It's a real picture!
Sneaked a photo of a Ghost Rider parked nearby. =p
Exploring into Yosemite. I like this picture very much. See the sign on the top left? Yup yup yup, take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints and keep wildlife wild. See the bottom right of the sign? The real squirrel is posing for me. hehe..
Venturing into the park in search of the world's tallest natural waterfall. Want to guess how tall these trees are?
I have no idea how tall the trees are.. but here's an indication.
Interesting tree barks =p Was told that there are over 7000 types of trees here.. These 2 shots are just not doing justice to the great variety out there.
Now, if you knock on this tree, it actually sounds hollow ;P
And here's a glimpse of the Yosemite Fall..
Erm.. Rock.... A pity that the water has almost dried up this summer. Wanted to try trekking nearer the water, but decided against it because of lack of time. I don't want to be left behind by the tour bus!
Well, though the falls is quite a disappointment, there are still other beautiful scenary around. The moon is appearing (Can you spot it in the middle of the sky?)
On the way back to my first budget hotel stay, I prayed super hard that i'll have internet access so that I could finish my assignment. The deadline is nearing and i just have to get something done by hook or by crook.
Guess what? I don't recognise this as a budget hotel.
Room’s better than expected. hmm.. Why do I need 2 double beds in a room! And the sign in the room states USD35 per day for single person. Free wireless access (Yes, thank you, Lord, for free wireless!!! =) ) and breakfast available too! Wow!
After talking to mom online, I started working on my assignment non stop... literally non stop.

It's called the Altamont pass Wind Farm. It is the largest wind farm in the world with around 6000 wind turbines. It is also one of the earliest in the US. They are invented due to an energy crisis in the 1970s. We also past by another wind farm, Tehachapi Pass, while passing thru the Mohaje desert on our way to Vegas.
Do I sound professional now? hahaha
Wah.. Charlene is that you? Ya, you sound professional.. it's a pity that half the bus is usually asleep when you share the knowledge. =)
