From San Carlos to Los Gatos

7.00am 17th July (San Francisco time)
Woke up early cos I wanted to meet Lisa before I go. I did.

Went back to to my room to continue working on my assignment. Just somehow my engine doesn’t seem to be able move into the best gear so I decided to talk a walk around the beautiful neighbourhood. Have I shown you any photos yet?
The plants are just so beautiful and carefully maintained everywhere!
Had lunch with Ian. He brought me to have Italian food.
I wanted to treat him but he just wouldn’t let me treat. I’ve been so blessed that I haven’t spent a single cent yet since i arrived in the US.

2pm
Left for Los Gatos where I’ll be staying at for the next few days for the Barracuda Conference.

3.30pm
When we reached the Los Gatos, Ian took sometime to locate the hotel. I joked that it is like a mini town tour as he circled around the little old wealthy town.

4pm
Reached my hotel, Toll House.

Settled down and relaxed in the comfort of my room before starting a little walk around Los Gatos.

All around, it’s expensive boutique shops or lifestyle shops like spa or manicure. It’s pretty quiet around here too, so it's hard to find someone to help me take a photo with me in it.

Here’s a mini park where the US flag, California flag and downtown Los Gatos flag is.

I was trying to find the Creek. Silly me, I had mis read the map and had gone into the opposite direction all the time. By the time, I finally found it, it was a bit late.

It was also quite quiet so I didn’t want to go in alone. Catching a glimpse of the creek, I turned back and went back to the hotel.
9pm
Somehow felt super tired.. You know, more tired than hungry, so I skipped dinner and slept really early today.. Getting stressed about my assignment…
