DISNEYLAND!! (Part 4)

28th July (California / Los Angeles Time)
7pm
After "Soaring over California", Sylvia and I couldn't rush back in time for the Disney Parade at 6.30pm. By the time we reached back to Disneyland Main Street, we were pretty late.. But well, if you want to know what I missed, it's below here..

We wanted to go "Finding Nemo", but the queue was 90mins!!
So we just had to forego the chance to go into a submarine ride. We went to visit the Lab of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!!"

I was still quite fascinated by the show.. it's not just the 3D animation.. but you could really feel like there's lots of mice running around your feet when the duplicator machine failed. And I was really scared by the cat which literally turned into a tiger (when we shrunk) and i REALLY FELT it scratching me on my knee!

It's A Small Small World.. I remember the song "It's a Small World Afterall". It was a little plastic birdie which i used to play with when i was a toddler.. I'll put the string and the song will be played while the plastic birdie's eyes will move up and down together with its wings. It was such an educational cruise... I would bring my kid here and then teach them the different nationality of the world. =)
We wanted to go to Peter Pan too, but the queue was long too, and we didn't want to miss the fireworks. So we chose to take the tram around Disneyland. That's Minnie Mouse's luggage. =pThe night has turned dark, so most of the photos aren't turning out good because night shots require more exposure time but we are constantly on the move. I was surprised that there were other hidden things like dinosaurs and wonders of the world to see while we travel in the tunnel from station to station.

Just in time for the fireworks! It was really great! Especially so after you've gone for all the rides and understood what the narration is all about! =) Well, YouTube stores everything, so you can view the fireworks here. But nothing beats seeing and experiencing it live! =)

What a grand finale. We met up with Fang Han after the show. It was such a crowd!! I was trying to take a picture of the crowd, but unfortunately my camera is not strong enough. Just try to imagine Chinatown during Chinese New Year k?

Sylvia sat around on the pavement with Fang Han as I went into the shops to try to find something reasonably priced =p

Sneaked a photo of a Gold watch with diamond studded rims, for a watch lover like me.

From Chocolates to Sweets, Cocoa to Coffee, Pendants to Earrings, Bracelets to Necklaces, Magnets to KeyRings, Tshirts to Jackets to Caps, so many merchandise!!

Finally, it's time to say a very reluctant farewell to the World of Disney. USD78 for Disneyland and California Adventure. Costly? No, I would say that it is worth every cent and dollar spent!! If I ever come back to LA, or go to Florida, I'll definitely visit Disneyland again! =) It's truly a place where dreams come true. =)
