6.30am 18th July (San Francisco Time)
Was still feeling very sleepy but had to force myself to get up as the bus leaves the hotel at 7.30am for the conference.
It was interesting to see the office building and place of the vendor whom I’ve been working with for the last two years.

And Barracuda vans which I’ve heard about but not seen in real life. I'm finally seeing it!
There are so many of them on the Barracuda company compound!
Lorries too! But I didn’t managed to take a photo of them.
Breakfast!
Have you seen this before? Wondered why there's this butterfly shaped cardboard stuck to the paper cup?
Interesting paper cups with handles to hold hot water.
No, I’m not just fooling around =p. It was serious information overload the whole day! During the breakout session, the delegates broke into 3 main groups: EMEA, APAC and North America. I can’t believe it. I’m the only APAC lady in the conference! And it was obvious because Andrew pointed it out to me during tea break too. Felt so shy =p.
The conference started at 8am and ended at 6pm. Then we proceeded to Los Gatos Opera House for the gala dinner.

I didn’t take much photos inside. But in summary, it was good food (salmon, steak, cheese and crackers), good wine (French/Californian Red/White Chardonnay/Cabernet sauvignon), and a big chocolate fondue. Hmmm. Oh, not forgetting the in-house musicians too.

This is really a conference of people from everywhere. Apart from the APAC folks from Japan, China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Thailand, I’ve met people from different parts of US (San Diego, Michigan, New York etc) and further places like Chile and Bulgaria.
7pm
Since the day is still bright, I dragged Andrew to go take photos with me.

Along the streets of the wealthy old DownTown Los Gatos.
Putting up Andrew’s favorite shot of me. (Even though the close up will show you a peeling and cracking face :p )

9pm
Silly me. I only realized that when I was walking in the wrong directions back to the hotel when an elderly asked me if I just came from the concert in the park. I didn’t know that the park was behind the Opera House! I had seen the elderly lady smelling the roses on the street and started a conversation with her.. Thank God that I did and realized that I’m headed the wrong directions back.
Well, since the night has turned dark, I might as well grab the opportunity to have a photo in front of the Los Gatos Theatre. Been there done that! =)

Had a pleasant surprise when I went back to hotel. Barracuda Networks had given each of us not just a bottle of handcrafted Californian red wine, but also 2 wine glasses (with the word Barracuda embossed on it)

Sorry folks, I am not bringing back the Californian Wine. Have decided to give it to my cousin who has been so nice to me! =)
11pm
Mom asked if I missed any food back in Singapore. I thought for a while and realized that I haven’t had rice for some days now. And I actually missed it. =p Well, i'm chinese afterall right?
Was still feeling very tired, so slept around 12am after talking to mom via msn. Sorry for not blogging (for those who don't know, this blog was only posted on 27th July), am stressed out by the incomplete assignment and am really feeling tired these few days.
