We woke up early so that we can reach Disneyland as early as possible. Disneyland opens from 8am to 12midnight daily. We reached there around 8.15am.
Getting Sylvia to get the tickets. Hee.. we have USD5 off each tickets as Sylvia is a Southern Californian resident. =p
Beginning my Disneyland Journey with Sylvia! =)
Seeing the sights and sounds of Disneyland Main Street =)
And guess who we saw? Goofy outside the Fire Station. =)
There are a lot of fake stuff, like hippotamuses and elephants. They look so real that when ral ducks swim past, we just ask "is the duck real?" Or rather, I just kept asking, "Is that real?" =p
Next we went to Tarzan's Tree House.
As we climb up the tree, we read the life story of Tarzan. Here's a scene of when he met Jane.
A picture of me on the treetop. =)
Here's the graves of all the dead animals who were dying to meet us...
Heh, it's disneyland right? If kids are allowed to go in, how scary can it be right? But do look twice..are your eyes playing tricks on you?.. Sorry, no photos inside too =p
We wanted to take the Splash Mountain. It's like our Big Splash in Singapore. But after queueing for 20 mins, there's some technical glitch and we were turned away! Oh man, what a let down...
What lifted me up was a sight of Tigger! You see, Critter Country is where Pooh and gang lives.
And Eeyore! =) There are so many more pictures that we took with them. All sooo cute!
Took a photo of Sylvia while we were in the queue to meet Winnie the Pooh! What do you see in Sylvia's Sunglasses? =p
Up close and Personal with Winnie the Pooh!!
Oh, did i tell you that i got their autographs too?
We went to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh before we proceeded to FrontierLand.
We passed by the Pirate's Lair, but we didn't take it. There are just so many things to do and see and so little time!!!
Here's the Pirate's Lair from afar. Can you spot the 2 pirates fighting in the midst of the crowd?
It's funny that we could have taken the Mark Twain Riverboat or the Disney Ship (ask me and I'll show the photos of this big luxurious ships) but we chose to show our brawns and spade our way closer to nature.
We went for an adventure ride at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Heh, scream your hearts out guys (actually Sylvia screamed, not me) . After a bumpy ride, we went for a smooth walk at the Big Thunder Ranch where the world's happiest (or so, they state) Turkeys and horses are.
Seen cows and sheeps before? Alright, you've seen them before. Ever touched them before?
"Please wash hands before leaving the Ranch."
This the railway station at FrontierLand.
We didn't take the railway though. Technical glitch again. Wonder why Disney has so many problems today.
Alright, I'll stop here.. The blog is getting too long.. I'll post what happened in the afternoon in a while. =)
