24th July (Las Vegas/Los Angeles Time)
Leaving Las Vegas and grabbing an opportunity to take a photo with Zhang Wen, a Chinese currrently studying in Australia and who joined the tour during her vacation now.
Had to say farewell to some of the new found friends : Nima, Tesh, Debbie and Shuberdu (names might not be spelt correctly) whom I’ve made over the past 4 days. Including our tour guide, Charlene (picture below), whom I’ve come to appreciate much. Sadz!
Walking the walk of Fame. And putting my foot in the picture to show my presence =p
And the foot and handprints of the stars.
I wonder how old Julie Andrew was when she left her prints here.. or if this print is even real =p
Actually the walk of fame and the prints were quite a disappointment. I had expected them to be much bigger but they were only a small area.
At the all famous Kodak Theatre which has become the home of the annual Oscar Awards Ceremony.
It's a big 4 storey Kodak Theatre.
Taking the road to Hollywood =p
And reaching it.. Can you see the word "Hollywood" on the right top of the mountain?
Pretending to be a star, busking in the light of photographers.
The photo below is dedicated to all my closest sisters (galfrens). I'm not buying this back for you, so please take this photo as a souvenir. =p
Many buskers on the streets,
From Marilyn Monroe..
To Cartoon Characters like Spongebob Squarepants
and Spiderman.
Chose to have noodles for dinner! How I miss good old Chinese food. =)
Food is very affordable here. This bowl of Wanton Mee is only USD3.25. With 10 wanton (the fillings are prawns instead of pork tho) and a lot of noodles, i would say that this is cheap!
Another friend, Shu Hong, that i made on the trip.
And here's my budget hotel..
With a super king sized bed, armchair and study table..
Missed the internet too as there's no free wireless access in the desert! Missed talking to mom! =)
