7am
I had to transfer to another coach, USA Travels ,which will bring me to Mexico. The bus I took from the hotel is actually a shuttle bus which went around picking up others. When we reached USA Travel’s HQ, we were transferred to the bus heading for Ensenda Mexico. I was glad that Richarda (the German lady) was with me. Alas, it was shortlived. Before the bus left, the tour guide checked everyone’s passports and Richarda was asked if she had the proper documentation. Apparently, even though she was on work permit, she was working as a trainee. After a while, the tour guide asked her to go down the bus, perhaps to the office to confirm the documentation. Suddenly, the luggage door of the coach was opened and I realized that Richarda really could not join the tour. I wasn’t even able to say bye to her. No more friends on the bus. Feeling alone with a little apprehension.
At first it was ok, I could work on my laptop, (since a few people asked huccome I stopped blogging =p, I felt I needed to work on something to put up when I have the next wireless access. =p). I enjoyed having an empty seat beside me to have more space and to put my things. But after a while, I wondered if I could survive alone, even if it was only 2 days.
Reached San Diego old town. Took some pictures of the historical town. Alone.
Or even having packed lunch together with friends is more fun than lunching alone.
Reaching Mexico and walking along the streets, I quickly felt like i'm in Mexico.
Mexican hats, Guitars, Shakers.
Jumping beans.
Have you seen jumping beans before? They really do jump. =) I didn’t buy anything because there was not enough time! The tour guide gave us an option of just shopping or a have a shorter shopping break and then proceed to the place where Titanic was filmed. Of course we chose the sightseeing.
Titanic was filmed in this hotel called Calafia.
This is the interior of the "Titanic ship's restaurant".
This is the outside of the hotel.
It's really such a luxury to dine and wine at such a beautiful location.I was surprised to learn that Mexico is a catholic nation, it just didn’t tally with the drugs and alcohol and sex that is in the city.
Christians don't wear crosses with Jesus hanging on the cross because we proclaim that He is Risen and Alive!! =) We serve a Living God!
On the way to La Bufadoram we travelled along highway code number 1. It’s along the pacific ocean. How vast is the ocean.
Walking towards the end to find the blowhole, we notice the natural surroundings.
No, it's not this piece of rock with moss on it that we are talking about.
It's the natural fountain which comes from the pressure of the waves. =) It's huge!
Trying to catch the sunset on the way back.
8.30pm
We had a mexican dinner which i thought tasted quite normal. After dinner, we walked along quiet streets. The shops here closes rather early.
Reaching back the hotel, I popped into a convenience store (to look for batteries actually) and guess what? I found the answer to the jumping beans. I found the answer.. there's a worm in the bean struggling inside...=p
