Meeting Sylvia!

27th July (California / Los Angeles Time)

Wanted to wake up at 5am to catch my travelmates for the last time and say farewell to them. But ended up lazing in the bed.

The latest check out time is 1pm. I spent the rest of the morning re-packing my luggage (to make space) and charging my laptop/handphone/batteries.

Spoke to Sylvia. In order to save time, i could either arrange to go to the airport to meet her or go to her house. That way I could meet her earlier, rather than waiting for her to reach home first then come and pick me up. So I asked the reception how long would the journey to the Airport and Arcadia cost. Apparently my hotel to her place is about 15-20 mins drive. Shouldn't cost more than USD30. That sounds fine.

Meanwhile, i just hanged around the reception area for the next 4 hours. Well, budget hotels in US means that the hotel is at locations which is very out of the place. Used the free wireless to update my blog. Once Sylvia smsed me from the airport, I arranged to book a cab.

OH man... LA is famous for it's jam. I was stuck in a jam!! A 20 min journey turned into a 55 min journey and the cab fare is a whooping USD70 !! So much money spent for doing nothing much in a day!

6pm

Waited for Sylvia to reach before I entered her house. Her place is huge!!! And the only consolation I have after such a plain day (which was good actually after all the tight time schedules for the past days), is home cooked asian food for dinner!!!

Wow, I really enjoyed it.

7pm

We went to pick up Fang Han, Sylvia's churchmate from Singapore.

Then we rested early in preparation for a fun-filled exciting Disneyland tommorrow!
