To Petra!

Woke up early in the morning to prepare to cross the border into Jordan.
So here's saying a goodbye to the Holy Land, I'm so glad I've come here. The customs' strict, so no photos throughout the process.
And finally after 2 hours, we reached Arabah Valley, Petra Mountains.

You could take a horse for USD3 for each leg of the journey, or USD20 on a carriage/buggy.

But I guess, the best is still to take the walk and view the scenary slowly.

It's amazing to see the carvings on the valleys. Though mostly Pagan, it's still a wonder how people of those days were able to create such wonders.

It took us some 30 mins to reach this. Wow.

Camel ride for USD20 to continue in. Anyone?

Taking photos with guards of the treasury.

The guards above are actors. The police below is real. But he's so friendly. I was only standing beside me for a photo, but he insisted that i hold his dagger. Hope he won't get chicken pox! HAHA

Apparently I forgot to take the photo of my lunch. But the food wasn't very tasteful or worth remembering... This is not a very hygenic place.. Water? Don't trust it.. drink it only from bottles.

Sun setting at the valley of Petra.

It's endless. Would you journey on?
I would on a donkey! =P

Uncle Leong posing with Jordanian coke above.

But the real coke addict is Uncle andrew below. =P

Sand art in a bottle! They make it on the spot, and you could pay them extra (a hefty USD20) just to have your name in the bottle too.

We'll be leaving Jordan tomorrow. Time to go home! =)
