Look at that! People during ancient times already knew that they too need to store food for reserves in case of "rainy days". What a deep pit!

And here we are at Meggido. Overlooking at what they call Har Margedon, which we call Armaggadon.
Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, "It is done!" Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

This is where the armies will be gathered, and then march down south to Jerusalem. This will be when Christ comes. This will be during the millenium. The question is " Where will you be on that day? Standing for or against God?"
Megiddo's Water System. 183 steps down. Here we go!
And that tunnel is what we are going to walk through. Can you imagine the people in the ancient times digging through the tunnel? When there's water? How did they do it? I wonder..
Here we go.. down and down and down and down...
Walking through the tunnel.
And up back to bright daylights! =)
And I guess, that exercise is to make you hungry for lunch.
3.15pm Ceasarea by the Sea!
Roman statues.
Wow! it's huge!
Hmay and I sitting on the original seats of the theatre.

The tracks where the horses and chariots will race. Remember Chariots of Fire and Judah Ben-Hur?
And the mosaic images in the palaces.
Not just symmetrical ones, but even animal shapes were drawn. For this room, they believe it to be the children's playroom where they can learn about the animals.
No wonder Rev Stephen says to catch the sunset everyday.
It's Falafel again! Check back yesterday's post for the photo. But for today, it is DIY. Take your Pita bread and put what you want into it!
Entering a Roman Theatre.
Seeing each day's beautiful sunset just stirs me to sing Paul Baloche's What Can I Do.
When I see the beauty of a sunset's glory,
Amazing artistry across the evening sky
When I feel the mystery of a distant galaxy
It awes and humbles me to be loved by a God so high
What can I do but thank You,
What can I do but give my life to You
Hallelujah, hallelujah
What can I do but praise You,
Everyday make everything I do a hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
