Am amused by the lifts which I've taken so far. In Singapore, Level 1 is where the ground is. Over here, ground level is Level 0.
To my pleasant surprise, the famous Pasteleria Koi Kei is actually just opposite my hotel! I was too concerned with the incessantly heavy rain yesterday that I was only looking for shelter.
And this is the front view of my humble hotel which is opposite the famous bakery.
Yes, the wet ground indicates that there's still a constant drizzle.
To save time, I took a public Bus (No. 5) to the ends of this little island.
Bus fare is MOP3.20 regardless of distance, and the bus looks like the ones in Singapore!
A-Ma Temple.
The place where many sailors pray for safety before they go out to the sea.
Up the steps.
Scriptures engraved on rocks along the way.
Facing the East. That would have been China, Guangzhou.. if my geography passed. =P
Enjoying the sea wind.
A Maritime Port I suppose..
Hmm.. What's that sign on that tree?
Apparently Macau practises tree conservation efforts like Singapore too. This is a hmm.. fake Bodhi tree.. or so that's what the sign says..
Was in the search of Lilau Square or Mandarin's house, but ended up here :
Miradouro Da Penha
And catching a glimpse of Macau Tower from the viewtop here.
The slopes of Macau.
A childcare centre.
Road signs for the tourists... but the places aren't that easy to find..
Toilets for Doggies. =)
No.. I'm not taking the scooters.. I'm taking the first shop I see open at 9am.
After I bought the pork chop bun (yes, let's give it a try again) and some others, I turned around and realised that there's a proper coffeeshop that just open.
Taking a photo of myself in the mirror while I got the auntie to make.. er.. another interesting drink..
My breakfast! Bought an egg tart, though this is the simple one.. not the portugese one. But I learnt something new.. the black spots on the portugese egg tart is to symbolise grapes.. which is the chinese translation for portugese.. ah so i see..
The auntie is not brewing hot coke and ginger today. So I tried this .. water chestnut and egg flower drink..
Yes, a whole egg is "stirred" into the drink... Not bad.. just interesting...
Oopss..there's a service in progress..
So I sneak the camera behind the bars to snap a photo of the principal base for the missionary work implemented in China, Japan and around the world.

The other side of St Joseph's Seminary.
Reaching St Augustine Church.

There are people spending some quiet moments in the cathedral.
I just took a snap of Christ hanging on the cross from afar.
Passed by a park and thought I would just walked through it.
Those tables are made for people to play chinese chess. (Another Singapore idea or?)
And this place is called Praca De Jorge Alvares...

Oopss..there's a service in progress..Moving on to St Joseph's Seminary and Church, I was a little disappointed to read that it is closed temporarily.
