Crossing over to Zhuhai

At Macau Border.Clearing the customs.

Walking to China customs.
Soon I found out that passing the customs is not as difficult as passing the extra barrier ..
- H1N1 checks..

In in China!Which has lots of space..
And lots of people..
The largest underground Shopping Mall?

Let me find lunch first!

Ramen and dumplings..
I asked if they have ginger and vinegar for the dumplings, the waitress say that they have the dumpling sauce. When I taste the dumpling sauce, it is vinegar.

Women's world? No time to go shopping. But I got lost in the underground shopping mall before I managed to get to the bus interchange.

Able to spot anything different in the bus? Clue : You need to tell the bus driver when you are alighting.. There's no bell to press! (I did find the bell at the end, it was at the exit only)

The New Yuan Ming Yuan Palace.
Entrance after 6.30pm is more than half price.

The buildings are 1 to 1 replicas.

About 18 sites are re-built here.

This place takes about half a day to complete walking around. The original palace would probably take about 2-3 days for anyone to cover.
Waiting for the musical Da Qing Huang Cao to begin.

Munching on the ostrich BBQ meat which I bought earlier. Couldn't really taste anything unique about it.
The show begins.
With songs and dances.

I noticed that although the musical talks about the rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty, and a little of the Han Dynasty, it is interesting to note that they had avoided revolving around the topic of who is right or who is wrong. Perhaps the rise and fall of a dynasty is part and parcel of the land's history, but it's their country afterall. And perhaps a little embarrassment to talk of the internal conflicts that caused the wars and pains in the transition of the dynasties.
As for me, it is good to have one King and one Lord over all.
Psalms 103: 19
The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
After this, everywhere's too dark to go around, so I went to find lodging and rest.
