Hwai May had a few pleasant surprises today. I shan't elaborate on it , but well, we just had yet another lot of strawberries to eat. =P (I must admit that i haven't eaten so many strawberries consecutively for so many days all my life! What a privilege and honor! :p )
Thank God for Hmay's good spirit! She walked totally on her own today (with her drip stand as her "clutch" support) around the building. She took her meals (and a lot of other tidbits) and of course, her medicine well too. *grins*
Let's also thank God that this hospital has more experience treating PNH patients. The hospital supposedly sees about 3-4 such patients each year! They will definitely more competent in handling Hmay than the previous hospitals. =)
Hmay still feel tired (dozes in and out of sleep for most of the morning till about 3pm) and now has this bloated feeling in her tummy (not too sure if it is gastric or gas, but it's not the usual pain that she felt previously). The doctors weren't really around to explain any results of the blood test because it's a public holiday today.
Nonetheless, it seems like Hmay can be discharged soon! Doctors has not decided to go ahead with the bone marrow test as it may be quite complicated and costly. As such, Hmay can actually go home and rest and be treated as an outpatient instead of waiting in the hospital.
For all we know, Hmay'll be out of the hospital faster than we think! :) Praise God!
