No, i wasn't bullying Hmay. We were eating strawberries and i needed a piece of tissue. She stretched her arm across the bed to reach out for the tissue from the box. It was so much joy for me to see her able to be independent again. =)
Hmay's really looking good (no more pain, not feeling faint or that sleepy and is significantly less giddy) and that really lifted up my spirit too. We had a fun time sharing and laughing at lame jokes with a few friends (from "everywhere"), including a 16 yr old boy who is waiting for his operation next week. We also played some card games. For dinner, Hmay took half a bowl of the rice, ate all the meat and soup and only left a few strands of veg. That was such great appetite in comparison to the past week! She also told me that she enjoyed the beancurd that i bought for her breakfast this morning. =) After dinner, we took quite a long stroll along the corridor (and yes, she walked about 25% of the distance on her own! ). She was also so glad to be able to go to the toilet by herself and even shower on her own (she did feel tired out after the shower but, still, it's significantly better than previously). =)
In fact, the Renal doctor said that she doesn't have to wait for the Creatinine level to go back to normal before being discharged as it'll take some 1-2 weeks. As long as she is well, she can be discharged (she just need to drink lots of water at home). Meanwhile, the doctors are doing the blood tests again to ensure correct diagnosis since PNH is so rare. They will also be testing for bone marrow transplant (just in case it is needed).
Let's pray that Hmay and family will have continued strength. (I promise I'll let you guys know when you can start flooding her with your encouraging physical presence =p )
Pray that the nurses and doctors will be caring and wise.
Pray also for miracles to happen. (Maybe she's recovered from PNH spontaneously... maybe she doesn't has PNH at all.. )
Keep that faith in going on, brothers and sisters in Christ. I have hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
