Hmay's parents have decided to transfer her to a public hospital either on Tuesday or Wednesday (pending administrative procedures). Thank God for medical friends who are helping with transfer and admission procedures. Because of this decision, the current hospital has decided not to start on the course of the steroids first.
Her creatinine level is slowly dropping. Positively speaking, the creatinine level might resume to normal within a week time. =)
Here's an sms from Daphne (GLCC) to me this morning at 09:37am:
"Hey sis! Mornin' :) Hwai May ate ur green bean soup, tuna sandwiches and chinese pears yest..thk God 4 her gr8 appetite. She tried swallowg her pills but sme r really big. The nurses grounded e large potassium pills into powdr but when she took the powdr she had discmft and almst throw upcos they were bitter. Thk God she tk thm w prune juice in e end."
Shortly after, Hmay sms me this at 09:54am:
"feelin better today. Pain from stomach subsided. Back stil ache tho n jabs getting more pain cos its alw e same sore area they takin blood n e main trial is pill swallowing.. Hai it caused me to vomit last nite. Pray4 mom who is breaking down quite often. N thk all those for their msgs n prayers. Pray for better appetite n energy to rise n walk! :) "
