Praying for Hwai May

Dear Friends,

I know many of you are concern about Hwai May. I'll be updating here on this blog (see from 19th May 2007).

The blood specialist was unable to find out what is the cause (because she has never seen such a case before and that blood cells breaking up is rare). On the positive side, at least most of the tests are negative (which means that Hmay is not suffering from those illnesses). They gave her iron tablets. The blood specialist will be seeking another specialist's opinion today. Hopefully they can find out the cause soon and administer treatment as soon as possible.

I do have a few thanksgivings:
(1) The colour on her face and lips are also slowly coming back. She could open her eyes more effortlessly and communicate a little more =)
(2) Hmay has more strength now; she took her first step in a week yesterday!
(3) Hmay is taking more food now. From 2 small mouthful, to 8 spoonfuls to half a plate yesterday!

Prayer Requests:
(1) The doctors to know the cause and administer treatment asap.
(2) Hmay and family to stay strong through it all.

Please continue to pray for her and her family, esp her mom (Aunty Pearl) who accompanies her from 10am to 10pm everyday.

Hmay allowed me to lift up the floodgates of Crusade prayers yesterday but strictly no visitation. After i sent the smses out, the amount of care and concern that flooded in was truly overwhelming. (Even i'm panting for breath now, so here's putting up the blog so that all of you can get the updates here =p ) No, I'm not turning you away. Please do feel free to ask me for any updates. I'll let her know that you cared. =)
