Lord, Teach us Patience..

Hmay may not be discharged so soon afterall and she was a little disappointed to hear that :( .

The kidneys are working fine. Creatinine level has dropped to 200(nearing normal rate). However, her blood count has also started dropping from a count of 13 to 10.9 to 9.7 over the last few days. As such, the doctors have decided to keep her in the hospital for monitoring. They are doing blood tests to see if the blood cells are still breaking up. Hmay was also not allowed to walk today as her blood pressure was found to be slightly low (below 100). So for long distances, she was pushed around on a wheelchair.

Otherwise, Hmay's appetite was great today. Apart from her meals, she had a craving for sweet stuff and wanted ice-cream. And what a blessed gal she is! To be able to feast on mango ice-cream and also some Haagen Daaz Cookie and Crème Ice Cream. And boy, she was also looking forward to the next lot of strawberries (with chocolate dip!). =)

Dear Prayer Warriors, let's continue praying for this dear sister who has been so positive through it all. Her mom has still been crying everyday (till her eyes are all sore and tired). I know that Hmay's brother and father are also very concern for her. Let's continue to uphold the whole family in prayers. Please pray also that Hmay's blood condition will stabilize soon.

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." -- James 1:12
