By 24th December, I didn't realise it, until my country manager came over to my desk to ask me about something. He was rattling non-stop when he suddenly paused and diverted. "Wooh, you actually have a lot of presents leh. A LOT leh. Like the bottom of Christmas Tree."
So while my heart glowed with a revelation that I'm pretty well loved in office, I also became rather conscious (and dare not take future photos). So the pictures I have below was taken much earlier.
As the season of giving, two or three colleagues would buy chocolates or little gifts to give everyone.
For some others, the gifts may be small, but it touches my heart to know how much thoughts went into getting it.
When some of my colleagues remember about how nostalgic I felt about carebears, they bought me carebears on their own. (This is the smallest one of all)
In the end, I've got 3 different carebears of different sizes from 3 different lovely colleagues!
"3D, 60 pieces, round". If not for the secret messenger to Secret Santa, I would have gotten 60 marbles instead of the 3D jigsaw which I've been wanting to try! Thank you secret messenger and secret santa!
Faceshop stuff bought back from Korea after someone came back from his honeymoon. keke. Good for me to use after my morning walk to office! =)
Chocs and cookies! (Oh, the present wrapped with Takashimaya wrapper is a Precious Moments Magnetic Board with my name on it. Super lovely present)
CrabTree and Evelyn's hand lotion too!
More Carebear! To Hug and to Share!
And my first Swarovski from another boss. =P
..plus many other gifts too.I have been extremely touched by the love and friendship that my office has shown, from colleagues to bosses, I could feel the love from every little gift. =D
As I ponder on the exclaimation "Wooh, you actually have a lot of presents!!", I began to see each gift as an indication of the love each individual colleague has for me.
As I put together the whole efforts and process of the thinking-of-me, the willing-to-get-me-something, the looking-for-the-gift, the getting-the-gift, the giving-the-gift, I can't help but realise how great is the Love of my Heavenly Father. God loves us so much that He Gave His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ for us. He thought of us, He was willing to be with us, He came up with the plan, He sent Jesus to die for us because He loved us. No wonder the Christians say that Jesus is the greatest gift. God loves us so much that He gave us the Greatest Gift of Love when He sent Jesus to die for us that we may live forever.
Will you open your heart and receive the most important and greatest Gift of Love from God?
