I Am Loved!

I've been rather distant from some social activities in the latter part of the year. So when I didn't think that I'll be receiving many Christmas gifts this year, it's really a pleasant surprise to receive presents from some friends whom I hadn't caught up for a while. It's nice to know that I'm being remembered. I feel that I am loved!

Though a little Christmas card may seem like a small gift, this card here spoke to me with God's Word from Psalms 46:10.

That was the exact message which was preached on Sunday. What does it mean to be still and know that God is God? I learnt that to "Be Still" is to "Cease", to literally stop and let go. Cease action, stop moving. Just hold on for that moment. Be Still. And "Know" -- this knowing is not the head knowledge nor the taught knowledge, but the knowing by seeing, observing and remembering the experiences of the presence of God in my life.
