When I met Tony yesterday, he told me that he was so tempted to leave a message on the mexico blog warning me that I can't bring Jumping Beans from Mexico to US because what is inside the jumping beans are worms and US wouldn't allow worms into their territory. Tony didn't leave the message behind cos I figured that out by the end of that blog, as well as the next blog.
At night, Fav msn me and told me that jumping beans aren't allowed in Singapore. Even though it's easy for me to just go through the Singapore Custom as a Singaporean, I wouldn't want to do that. Apparently, the moths that will evolve from the worms in the beans, are harmful to our environment here. I wouldn't want to bring harm to my home.

In fact, in 2002, there was a guy who brought jumping beans in to sell as novelty pets but was told to recall the beans. http://www.boingboing.net/2002/12/30/index.html
I had wanted to bring them back cos it was really intrigueing to see beans jumping. Thank God that I didn't get any jumping beans back though. =)

By the way, today's first day back at work. The first thing my boss said when she saw me was "woooh, so dark!". "It's the Californian tan, you can't get it in Singapore." I replied positively. After a while, my boss walked passed and she said again "So dark!" =P
