Food is not expensive in US

Woke up late on Saturday morning to brunch.. My Filipino colleague has an auntie working in Vegas. So they came to pick us up to and brought us to this Asia Buffet.

For US$10 per pax, eat all you can...

There are rows and rows of food...

Familiar looking chinese cuisine..

This reminds me of the many times when my colleagues in office will give silly (and expensive suggestions) when the boss says he's treating. And boss would coolly reply "Sure. Let's see how much you can eat anyway."

So I guess the logic of these fabulous buffets are the same.
USD10, cheap? Let's see how much you can eat anyway..

From main dishes to snacks.

Fruits to desserts.

Yummzz

Still more!

There was about 6 double-sided aisles of food..

Sushi!

Cookie and Popcorns.

Ice-cream!

After a super full lunch, the auntie and family dropped me off at Tropicana Hotel.

As I have a free ticket to enter the Auto Collection at the Imperial Hotel next door, I went to take a look.

Vintage cars are huge!

Thereafter, I returned to Flamingo to pick up my backpack from the belldesk.

Waiting for the tour bus to arrive, I saw reflection of myself in the mirror and promptly took a photo.

Imagining carrying my 13 days' of luggage in the backpack. It didn't look too heavy from the photo. But it is! So deep down in my heart, I was reminded by what mom said "bring a luggage bag. Then you don't have to carry your heavy bag around". Ok. I'll remember that the next time I'm on a proper trip.

The mirror here was actually a see through window. Shortly after I took the photo, 2 ladies (perhaps in their 40-50s) from Canada came to me. "Hey we saw you through the window, and saw the printout that you were holding. It looked the same as the one we had. We're glad to see you. Are you on tour to Yellowstone and Rushmore as well?" I smiled. I was, but gotobus.com was just a portal, and the tour operator might be different.

Soon my bus came and I left. I'm not sure if the ladies got to their tour, but it was sure nice to have met them and be of assurance to them.
