When Tears Fall

Imagine every upsetting situation, anguish feeling, burdensome moment and unjustified circumstance as each breath blown into a balloon. When too many of these happen at the same time, the balloon will get too big. And sometimes, it just take a little more pressure, either from internal or external to burst the balloon. And then different people will have different outbursts, some will lose their temper, some will cry, some will become withdrawn, some will become violent.

A new analogy I thought of is to pour every negative event into an empty glass of water. When too many of these undesirables happen at the same time, the cup gets full, and as usual, all it takes is just another tiny little drop of water into the brimming cupful of water, and the water will overflow.

Stumbled into this simple song by Tim Hughes. May it be an encouragement to all, especially to those who have questions, feeling hopeless, sorrowful and pain.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed"
