Waiting for the rainbow

It had been raining crazily these few days.

I received an sms from one brother last evening. The sms reads "Wherever you are, look out and look up for the beautiful rainbows. =D" Curiously, I walked to the nearest window in my room and took a peek out. Nope, I didn't see anything. But neither did I went in further search for it. I could have gone to the other rooms' windows, or even get out of the house, but I didn't.

This morning I realised I really missed some beautiful sights.

Colleagues (esp the female ones) delighting at how big and beautiful the rainbowS are. Yes, most spotted at least 2 rainbows.

On Msn, I noticed a few nicks exclaiming at the appearance of the rainbows. Some even saw a total of 4 rainbows!

On Facebook, I viewed some awesome pictures taken of the rainbows.

And because I missed seeing those rainbows in person, I suddenly wished that I could catch a rainbow again in this rainy weather. So I'm waiting for it.

Genesis 9:15-17

" I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

I'm waiting.
Not just for the sight of the rainbow.
But also waiting for God's promises to be revealed. =)
