It was a fun wedding (and as usual, a crusade gathering). The (intuitively quirkie) wedding started at 3pm sharp, and ended at 4.30pm. The crusaders, however, hung around as usual, catching up with one another until there's literally no one else in sight.
I was on the way home around 6+pm when my phone rang, strangely from the super nice churchmate who had given me a lift earlier.
"eh, hi sis, i'm so sorry to call you.. but do you remember where did I park my car just now? I mean, do you happen to remember? We've been trying to find my car for a while now and I'm just hoping that you are able to remember..."
*Momentary Silence* Oh no, I wasn't exactly thinking when we stopped there.. I mean, I was just taking a lift .. I won't be going back to the car.. I was only thinking of where I was going ahead .. I didn't have the intention of looking back.. I can't quite remember..only very vaguely..
This reminded me of the time when a friend called me to ask if I remember... "Remember the car accident we were in last year.. Do you remember the passenger in the car in front? What did he looked like?" I was caught off-guard "Huh? You mean there was a passenger in the car in front?" I was already in a daze after the bump, and after regaining the composure, I was more concerned about ourselves (our physical being , the car and the damages), I seriously can't remember if there were any passengers sitting at the back of the car in front, much less how he looked like..
When was the last time someone asked you if you remembered something..
If one day, God asks you "Did you remember..?"
What would you have remembered?
