My most expensive Cab fare in Singapore

Guess I must have broken one of the records.

SGD$58.15

In order to help save some money for the company, I tried to deliver a 4-port card (something that looks like those green circuit boards that you see in an electronic manufacturing factory) to my boss. And he was at the airport going up a flight in 30 mins. And I was in my office in Jurong.

So I started to race against time... and then as time closes in.. it seems that there's no way that I could make it.. then my boss gave me a call, and told me to try to catch the forwarder's cargo before it leaves the port.. wherever the port was supposed to be.. so i made a few phone calls and ended making a turn to marina south pier.. Thank God that I managed to pass the little card to the forwarder in time.

By the time I made my way back, the total bill is $53.13.. About $40 for the journey and an additional 30% surcharge during the peak hour.

drat.. should have taken a photo of the receipt before submitting it for claims.. it's a rare expensive receipt in Singapore... at least for now.. perhaps in the near future, it might cost this much on average..
