A Surprise at the Botanic Gardens

Daphne got up early in the morning to prepare for the picnic at the Botanic Gardens. After she packed together the food and stuffs, she headed to Botanic Gardens to find a nice spot for the picnic.

She soon found a nice spot in Palm Valley, laid the picnic mat in time before target appears.

And then I appeared to surprise Hmay! (there's a whole lot of funny stories behind this surprise, but I'll update it on the post if I have time.)

Here's the mission accomplished "together photo".

Things we did for the rest of the afternoon includes napping, playing the flute, and five stones.

And blowing bubbles!!! It's really a feeling of back to childhood days!

I like this shot with my face behind the bubble. Daphne took the rainbow in the bubble and also the reflection of the coconut trees and sky. Beautiful shot!

But if you observe carefully, you would have noticed that I have spluttered so much saliva on the inside of the bubble... =P

When the bubbles fly away, we take turns to pick it up. When we decide not to chase after the balloons anymore, we let the kids take it and play with it.

After lazing around for an hour or so, we decided to visit the Evoluxion Garden nearby.
And starting with a journey some 2 million years ago..

We did see some exotic plants... and took some interesting pictures..

But I guess, the laughters come from a very imaginative photographer and 2 very accomodating models..

Welcome to the start of the Evoluxion Garden journey...

...and entertaining pictures
We'll slant with the trees or hide under it..

We'll show you how long the road is or how small we are..

We'll wait for fruits to drop into our mouths and gwak at bunches of flowers.

We don't care what others say or think or see. We just have fun !!

Out of Evoluxion Garden, and navigating our way around.

Would this mean that there will be no more crazy shots?

Exiting from Evolution Garden, and walking back to the Symphony Lake for the evening concert. Back to "reality" and taking a prim and proper shot. =P
Finding a nice spot in the midst of the crowd which are beginning to gather for the Concert. Well, we did think it was a nice spot until we figured out why the spot was empty...
I love this photo taken by Daphne. When she first took it, she went "wooh! look at the glory of God upon the multitudes." Would the second coming be something like this? Maybe a million zillion times more spectacular then we can ever imagine. =)

Unfortunately, the sun rays didn't awe us for too long before we go about our silly antics again.

And here's Hwai May "jumping up" from her beauty nap to save her melting chocolate wafer, Kit Kat.
"Come, let's share share and finish up the rest of the snacks"

And take a picture and tell our mommys that we did drink water too! =P

Hwai May and Daphne posing for a shot. hmmm.. They are becoming very good at modelling..so good that they can be advertising for Opera in the Park.
A photo with Daphne, at the background is the platform stage in/on the Symphony Lake.
Enjoying the free Opera in the Park performance.
A final together shot before the end of the day..
Actually not so end of the day.. we walked to Jacob's Children Garden, but unfortunately it was closed after 7pm. And we went to somewhere along Sixth Ave for a simple dinner at Coffee Club.

Been a tiring day..we were together from 1pm to 9pm! But when true friends come together, time is never enough! How thankful to God that we have all eternity to have fun together as sisters in Christ!

Amen!
