My first attempt at golfing! =)

Look at the ball, put your feet together, place the club correctly beside the ball, hold the club (right hand infront with little finger clasping the index finger of the left hand), keep your eye on the ball, put your legs apart, bend your knees (like in a sitting position), keep your eye on the ball, keep your left shoulder straight, drag the club back, keep your eye on the ball, draw the club back delibrately, keep your left foot firm on the ground, keep your eye on the ball and swing!!

=> hear a nice sound 'ttaat' and you know that you made contact.

See the ball looping beautifully in the air and you feel a sense of satisfaction.

Wow. it was a great game. (I actually worked out and perspired!)

When Elder Yeoh reminded me to keep my eye on the ball. It drew me a parallel.

Keep my eye on the ball, focus, be disciplined, and you'll feel a sense of satisfaction for following it through.

Keep our eyes on Jesus, focus, be disciplined, and you'll feel a sense of satifaction for following it all.

And you know what? Being able to hit a good shot doesn't mean much. The goal is to be consistent with my shots.

"Lord, keep my eyes on You always, so that I'll be always focussed on You. Help me be disciplined so that when I do what is pleasing to You, You'll satisfy me too. And Lord, I want to be a consistent Christian for You too. Help me to be one. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen."

Am looking forward to my next golfing session. Wanna join me?

Joyful Golfers meet every Saturday at Bishan Golfing range.
