Spencer's home

This is Spencer.

Today, I brought him home (as part of my clearing up act in office). Though he has been with me for about one and a half years now, mom has never seen him before.

This is because he was part of a 2006 valentine's day bouquet (see picture on right) delivered to my office. Since then he's been living in the office until today.

Spencer's been a big attraction in office during 2006. He's been hugged and "caressed" by many who have now left the office. I remember the times in office..that whenever someone is feeling down, we'll throw, yes, literally throw, Spencer at the person (imagine him flying across the cubicles in office and landing as a surprise to the upset colleague) and he will just allow himself to be hugged by the person, comforting the person in the process. In fact he had been into so many hands (and tears) that there was almost a time that he became an outcast.. cos it wasn't deemed so hygienic to touch a bear which has been stained by so much sweat, tears and all.

But it's hard to resist Spencer. On an average day, Spencer would brighten up the atmosphere with his endearing look. Here were some of his naughty antics in office.

<-- Spencer hanging at the edge of a colleague's cubicle.

Spencer balancing a stressball (heh, i still remember the joke that stress
levels were so high in selling that particular product that stressballs were made as part of marketing gifts) on top of his head while sitting on the edge of a cubicle.-->

Received a note today from one colleague saying that she'll miss me. I usually receive notes (and/or little gifts) from colleagues leaving saying that they will miss me when they are gone. The feeling is different today. Someone left a note saying that I'll be missed when i'm gone. I guess these are what memories are made of.

Nostalgia..
