It's gift making time for Christmas!

Tools you'll need:
1) Mini Glass Bottles available from giftshops
2) Paper to print the words and phrases.
3) Scissors
4) Most importantly, SEA-SHELLS from the Shore of the Sea of Galilee
First, you'll need to cut the printed words on paper into the right size. This means taking time to design the words and ensuring that when the paper is printed double-sided, they fit!
For more efficient production, open all the bottles first before putting in the main slips of papers. Don't try putting in the shells first. That has been tried and unfortunately will cause some headache in putting in the paper later.

Thereafter, begin picking the different seashells to be put into each individual boxes. The long thin cones are most common, thus special effort should be taken to add in the rounder shells. Also, it'll be nicer to have the smaller shells, so it is important to have more smaller shells in each container.
After filling the base with shells, begin to put in the smaller verse and phrases into each bottle. Then put in a few more shells to complete the gift.

Taa-daa!!! All 40+ bottles completed!! I'm so proud of my little work that I thought that this little gift of mine is nicer than the rest of the gifts that I bought back from Israel!

Hmmm... how is it that I felt that something was missing? If I give this to the folks, years down the road will they remember that it's from me?So here's me and my brilliant idea of leaving my name behind on the cork.
"Made for you by Huizhi (or Petrine, depending on who you are)"
and on the top of the cork " Blessed Christmas 2008"

So what do I do with water from Jordan river? Make a special waterball for precious1_pearl who requested me to by a snowglobe from Israel. I didn't buy any snowglobe from Israel (I mean, what's the point of getting something with a sticker label "Made In China" right?)

So, making a waterball with water from River Jordan and seashells from the shores of the Sea of Galilee sounds like a cool idea, right?

T'is the season of giving and though this whole gift making process took a whole afternoon, it was one done with much joy and love.
Blessed Christmas to one and all!
